Hi my board MSI B450 Tomahawk max (4 Slot Ram) I inserted it with a Hyper X Fury 2x8gb. Everytime Is it bad to make the 2 Ram sit with each other?

i remember that 4 ram slot has more benifit than a 2 ram slot motherboard. but not sure if i remember it right from reading something. can anyone tell me what should be the pro/cons?
